5-Bullet Monday #02 (20/01/2020)

Happy Monday!

Here’s your weekly dose of awesomeness.

How to stop procrastinating –
Read this post and you’ll end procrastination by the end of your read. I wrote about 7 practical ways to develop the habit of getting started, over and over again. I listed the best time to use each of the techniques so I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you.

Dan’s Productivity Vault –
I want to thank everyone that invested in my Productivity Vault. I’m amazed at the feedback that I’ve been getting through your emails. It really means a lot to me and I’m delighted to hear your success stories.

Best books of 2019 –
I read lots of books in 2019. My favorites were Atomic HabitsThinking in BetsBuilt to LastSwitchProfits FirstMaking It All Work, and The Goal. Do you have recommendations? I’d love to hear 😉 I have a backlog of book summaries and I’ll be publishing them on the blog soon.

On working deep –
Last year I wrote an article about Deep Work. That piece still resonates with me as much as it did back then. Great ideas are like that, they stay with you over the years. What’s one concept or idea that you keep thinking about?

Articles I’m loving –
I really enjoyed reading Tiago Forte’s article “The Holy Grail of Self-Improvement” on Ribbon Farm. Here’s a bit that resonated with me: “The most durable habits are inherently rewarding, a quality that tends to arise because they are difficult or challenging, not despite of it (think puzzles).”

Have a great week!

Dan
