Happy Monday!

Recovery from surgery was a bit harder than expected so I mostly didn’t work all week. I’m now slowly getting back to work ;)

This week I published:

1.
Biological Prime Time: How to Plan Your Way to Improved Productivity
Productivity tips do not work on a “one-size-fits-all” basis.

The reason?

What you do throughout the day and how you do it is going to vary greatly from person to person.

Although many of the techniques I discuss are extremely helpful in allowing you to boost your productivity, you must first understand how you work and how to get the most out of your time.

This begins with a concept known as biological prime time.

If you want to structure your day in a way that is more efficient for you, let’s walk through what biological prime time is, how you can calculate it, and what you can do with that data to become far more productive all around.

2.
The Productivity Secret You Need to Become Ultra Productive (Start Smashing Your Tasks)
Batching is about to become your favorite word. You’re going to decrease the number of tasks you have in a day. And you’re also going to have the most productive week of your life.

And that’s not even the end of it. You’re going to have more fun doing it all.

Right, on to the Medley ;)

Here is your weekly dose of “5-Bullet Monday,” a list of what I’m pondering and exploring.

What I’m planning—
I’ve drilled down my strategy to review this year and plan 2021. I’m writing my entire process so you can use it yourself and get a better picture of how your year went as well as plan 2021 in style.

Thank you all for sending articles/videos and emailing me your process. This is extremely helpful as I get to see how everyone reviews and plans.

If you have a system yourself, please let me know by replying to this email ;)

What I’m setting up—
I took the weekend to start setting up my new productivity desk setup and studio. The desk is almost complete, the studio has a few things missing (also because I ordered some things wrong and missed a few things).

I’m super happy how it all turned out. My workspace is a lot more functional and looks a lot nicer. I’m excited to be working with this new setup.

I recorded myself assembling everything and a video will come out in early January. Hopefully, it will give you some ideas for your own upgrade too.

What’s one thing you love about your desk setup? Hit reply and let me know ;)

What I’m reading—
So not much progress on reading as well. Still on The Making of a Manager by Julie Zhuo.

Over the years, I’ve collected hundreds of recommendations for books (huge thanks to everyone that sent recommendations by replying to this newsletter). Now, I’m trying to organize them in one place so I can prioritize what to read next based on what I want to learn.

I’m thinking of doing this in Notion, just because it’s quick and simple.

But I’m curious: how do you organize your reading list? How do you choose what to read next?

Hit reply and let me know ;)

What I’m waiting for—
For 2021 to begin ;)

I’m super excited to get to execute what I have been planning in the last few weeks. I think it will be great and I’ll have a blast doing it.

It really pays off to take a few days/week to get the mental clarity needed so you can execute better.

I’m going to focus a lot more on personal productivity. What topics do you want me to cover?

This could be anything from “more on productivity hacks” to specifics things you want to learn like “how do I deal with annoying emails from coworkers”?

Hit reply and let me know ;)

What I’m building—
